Heidi in your side panel, right next to the call.
Heidi Copilot opens the live copilot of the meeting you're in, inside the browser's side panel. Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Whereby, web versions, on Chrome or Edge. No tab juggling, no second screen.
On Chrome, go through the store button: add to Chrome, confirm, done. This zip is for Edge while the Edge Add-ons listing is in progress: it installs in developer mode in about two minutes, steps below.

Chrome goes through the Chrome Web Store: add to Chrome, confirm, a few seconds. Edge Add-ons is still being published, so on Edge, version 1.0.1 installs the way developers do: unzip, load the folder, two minutes. The Chrome steps stay here for anyone who prefers loading the folder by hand.
Microsoft Edge
- 1Download the zip above and unzip it. Keep the heidi-copilote-1.0.1 folder somewhere permanent, Edge loads the extension from there.
- 2Open a new tab and go to edge://extensions.
- 3Turn on Developer mode with the toggle on the left.
- 4Click Load unpacked.
- 5Select the heidi-copilote-1.0.1 folder (the folder itself, not the zip).
- 6Pin me: click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then the eye icon next to Heidi Copilot.
Google Chrome
- 1Download the zip above and unzip it. You get a folder named heidi-copilote-1.0.1: keep it somewhere you won't delete, Chrome loads the extension from there.
- 2Open a new tab and go to chrome://extensions.
- 3Turn on Developer mode with the toggle at the top right.
- 4Click Load unpacked.
- 5Select the heidi-copilote-1.0.1 folder (the folder itself, not the zip).
- 6Pin me: click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then the pin next to Heidi Copilot.
Open a meeting link. That's it.
Open a Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex or Whereby link in a tab. My icon shows an ON badge: click it and the side panel opens with the copilot of that meeting. The panel only opens on your click, never on its own.
One honest heads-up
With a manual install (Edge today, or Chrome if you loaded the folder yourself), the browser shows a "Disable developer mode extensions" message at startup. It's the standard notice for any extension loaded from a folder, not a problem with me. Click Cancel (the option that keeps the extension) and carry on. If you install it from the Chrome Web Store, the message never appears, and the Edge Add-ons version will remove it too.

Recognises the meeting tab
Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex or Whereby, in their web versions. When the active tab is a call, my icon lights up with an ON badge.
Opens on one click
Click the icon and the side panel slides in beside the call. It's the copilot of that exact meeting, from your Heidi account, not a generic chat.

Suggestions, your goal tracker and the live Pulse of the conversation, while it is still yours to steer.
Captures nothing itself
The audio comes from the Heidi bot that joins the call as a participant. The extension only reads the tab's address to find the meeting.
What you need.
- A Heidi account, logged in on app.hi-heidi.ai in the same browser. The panel reuses that session; without it, it asks you to sign in.
- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, version 116 or later.
- A meeting that exists in Heidi with the call link attached. If the tab isn't a known meeting, the panel lets you pick an upcoming one or paste the call link right there. To create the meeting with its link, use Capture in the app.
What I read, and what I don't.
The extension reads the address of your active tab to recognise a meeting and sends it only to app.hi-heidi.ai. No page content, no audio, no data stored in the browser, nothing shared with anyone else.
